Ingredients

8 lean pork sausages or 24
cocktail sausages
l onion, diced
2 400g tins baked beans
Two microwave packets of
mashed potato
50g cheddar cheese, grated
bake
Method
Prick the sausages witha fork.
Heat a non-stick pan over a medium-high heat.
Add the sausages and cook for around 10 minutes until browned on all sides and cooked through.
Place into an oven-safe casserole dish.
Use a teaspoon to drain off most of the oil leaving a small amount in the pan.
Add the onion into the pan and cook over a
medium heat until cooked for about 5 minutes. Add in the beans and heat through. Pour into the casserole dish.
Heat the mashed potato in the microwave as per packet instructions. Gently spoon on top of the sausages and beans.
Preheat the grill. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top of the potato. Place under the grill for a few minutes until the cheese is golden brown. Enjoy!
