INGREDIENTS:

For the dough or vanilla cake:

1 cup of sugar

125g of butter

2 eggs

2 tablespoons of vanilla 1/2 cups of flour

13/4 teaspoons baking powder 

1/2 cup of milk

baking powder 

For the candy:

1 and a half cups of sugar

1/4 cup of water


PREPARATION:

For the Vanilla Cake:

1. Mix flour and baking powder, add to butter mixture and combine well. Lastly, whisk in the milk until the mixture is smooth. Place in the prepared mold and take to the oven.


For the candy:

2. Place the sugar with 1/4 cup water in a pot or pan and mix at room temperature, then melt it on Medium heat until it starts to transform into Caramel. (Stay tuned for the color of our candy so we don't burn the candy).


3. Now that we have the candy ready, we cover the entire base of the mold that we will use to make our flip and proceed to place the banana or pineapple pieces (canned pineapple slices) on top of that candy so that it can then be filled with the vanilla cake mix.


4. Bake it all in about 20 to 35 minutes at 1800C in Baño-Maria to flip it later and you can enjoy this dessert.
