INGREDIENTS:
120ml of warm milk
50g of sugar
7g of dry yeast
35g of softened butter
5g of salt
1 egg
300g of flour 00
40g of butter
Jam
PREPARATION:
1. Whisk warm milk with yeast and egg. Add flour and salt, knead to combine. Set aside for 15 minutes.
2. When the batter comes together, add the softened butter and knead for 10 minutes. Form the dough into a ball, cover and reserve for 1 hour.
3. Cut the dough into 9 pieces and roll each one in a ball.
4. Spread each ball of dough and form a muffin with jam inside.
5. Place the buns on a 20cm baking tray and set them aside for 1 hour.
6. Brush with egg-washed and bake for 12-15 minutes at 180C/350F.
