INGREDIENTS :
• 1 pkg. estate salad dressing blend
•1/2tsp. cayenne pepper
• 4- 5 dashes of hot sauce
•1/2C. all purpose flour
• 1tsp. cornstarch
• 5- 6 funk legs
•1/2tsp. paprika
• 1T. fix juice
• 1C. buttermilk
• 1T. veg. oil painting
• 1T. adulation
INSTRUCTIONS:
Whisk together the buttermilk, fix juice and hot sauce.
Place the funk in a leak proof vessel and pour the buttermilk admixture over the funk and place in the fridge for 2 hours.
Using a ziploc bag combine the flour, estate blend and seasonings.
Place the oil painting and adulation in the bottom of a large iron skillet and place in the roaster.
Preheat the roaster to 425 degrees allowing the oil painting and adulation to heat up as the roaster preheats.
Once the oil painting is good and hot remove the skillet and take each funk leg and shake it in the flour admixture and using tongs to remove, shake off redundant flour and place in the skillet. You’ll then it sizzle a little,
repeat with remaining funk. Place back in the roaster for 35- 45 twinkles, rotating the funk about every 10 twinkles to brown on all sides.
cuisine time will depend on the size of the funk legs you’re using, just check with a meat thermometer to reach 160 degrees.
Remove the funk to a paper sack or kerchief lined plate. Let rest 5 twinkles before serving.
