I had this once at a restaurant and ever since then Iโve been craving to make it but I wanted it to taste EXACTLY the same and Alhamdulillah i bring you a winner recipe the taste is not overpowering, itโs literally perfection itโs something different, delicious and super easy to make.
Ingredients:
Marinate 1 chicken with 1 tsp paprika,
1/2 tsp salt,
1/4 tsp black pepper,
1 heap tsp crushed garlic,
1 tsp lemon pepper,
4 Tblspn oil and 1 tsp chicken spice of your choice.
Method:
1. Place in airfryer for 30 minutes on 180/ or alternatively in the oven on 180 covered for 30-40 minutes.
2. While chicken is cooking make your sauce, 1/2 tsp crushed garlic, 1 tsp Italian herbs spice, 5 Tblspn honey, 3 Tblspn fresh lemon juice ( add more if you prefer)
NOTE:
you will not get the same flavour if you use the bottled lemon juice ) 1/2 tsp crushed red chilli (optional) , 1/2 tsp lemon pepper and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
heat on low heat for about 6 minutes until the sauce thickens (make a double batch of sauce, just trust me!).
3. Once your chicken is done, pour sauce over and ENJOY.
I served mine with wedges, pasta salad and garlic naans.
