Soya Fish Curry

How to make lamp recipe?

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack Soya Fish - Gorimas
  • 10 small brinjal 
  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 4 tomato grated
  • 1/2 green chillies
  • 2 tsp butter ghee - Willowfield
  • 1 tablespoon prawn and fish masala
  • 2 tsp Tamarind concentrate mixed with 1 cup of hot water
  • 1/2 tsp methi seeds
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • coriander
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 small onion sliced

Marinade :

  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp leaf masala
  • 2 tsp ginger/garlic/chilli paste
  • 2 tsp olive oil




Method :

1. Allow fish to defrost before slicing then add all the marinade ingredients. Smear over each piece and put in an airtight container in the fridge for a few hours.

2. In a flat pot add ghee to melt and fry the fish roughly 4min a side till a crust appears on each side.Remove and keep aside.

3. In the same pot add the methi seeds allow to cook for 2 minutes before adding the onions and green chillies.

4. Add masala and brinjal with garlic and allow to cook for 8/10 minutes before adding tomato and 1 tsp of sugar allow 8/10 min to cook add 1/2 tsp salt only as the Tamarind is salty.

5. Add the tamarind water to the pot and let it cook and reduce to half the amount.Add chopped dhania.

6. To serve use the gravy as a base and place the fried fish on top.Perfect with rice.
