Ingredients:
- 1 kg macaroni pasta
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 can pasta meat sauce
- 500 ml spaghetti sauce
- 1 large yellow onion (minced)
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/8 cup olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 beef broth cube
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp chili flakes
- Salt & pepper

Bechamel sauce:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup parmesan cheese or any cheese you like
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- Salt to taste
- More cheese for topping
- Dried basil or italian seasoning

Toast:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tsp garlic powder
- 5 tbsp parmesan
- Slice bread or any bread you like

Method:
1. Cook pasta according to package instructions and save some pasta water for later.
2. In sauce pan pour in the olive oil and saute onions, garlic, ground beef.
3. When beef turns brown season with salt and pepper, add in broth cube and sugar.
4. Pour in meat sauce and tomato sauce, simmer for 5 mins and add pasta water and butter and chili flakes. Simmer again for 15-20mins. Salt & pepper to taste. Set aside.
5. In a different sauce pan, dump in butter. When melted and bubbly stir in the flour until it turns a little brown.
6. Pour in the milk, stir constantly and add cheese and cream cheese. Keep stirring until thick. Set aside.
7. In a baking dish or aluminum tray mix in the pasta and meat sauce, topped with the bechamel sauce and more cheese. Sprinkle some dried basil or italian seasoning for added flavor.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 15 mins or until cheese is melted and toasty.
9. In a bowl, add softened butter, garlic powder and parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined.
10. Spread it in one side of sliced bread and bake in the oven at 180C for about 5mins or until toasty. Cut in desired size.
11. Serve your baked mac with the toast and enjoy.
