CRISPY LEMON SHALLOT BRUSSELS WITH MAPLE BACON & FETA

  • Organic Brussel Sprouts marinated in a lemon shallot vinaigrette. Air fried until crispy and tossed with maple bacon, red onion, & feta cheese!

  • This makes for the perfect side dish or snack if you’re wanting to get your veggies in and want to spice things up! All you need is your favorite dressing or marinade and you’ve taken your Brussels to the next level! There are so many elements and flavors but it really is so easy to make:

Ingredient:

  • -1 bag of organic Brussel sprouts
  • -Dressing of your choice
  • (I used Cindy's kitchen lemon shallot vinaigrette)
  • -Bacon
  • -Maple Syrup
  • -Red Onion
  • -Feta Cheese

Method:

  1. -Thoroughly rinse and slice Brussels in half (I normally always cut mine in halves, but decided not to this time) 


  1. -In a bowl combine your Brussels with the vinaigrette and make sure all are coated 


  1. -Cover with tinfoil and leave in the fridge for at least an hour to soak up all of the flavors and marinate

 

  1. -Take your bacon and brush with maple syrup. Then cook accordingly to package instructions until crispy and then chop into little pieces

 

  1. -Dice up onions and throw them on a pan with until they’ve softened up a bit 
  2. -Remove your Brussels from fridge and place in an air fryer at 375 for 15 minutes or until crispy! You may also bake them in the oven at 400 until crispy 
  3. -Combine your Brussels, bacon, onions, and add your feta. You can also drizzle with some more of the dressing if you desire.
